Last Saturday, October 30th the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce held its annual gala banquet for the prestigious 2010 ABEX awards in the Delta Hotel in Regina before an exceptional crowd of over 700 business people from across Saskatchewan.

EXIT Realty Fusion, one of Regina's youngest but fastest growing real estate companies, was honoured during the night when they won the ABEX award for New Venture, an amazing accomplishment when you take into account the fact that the company is less than three years old.

Jeremy Harrison, Minister of Enterprise, sponsor of the award, commented: "Enterprise Saskatchewan is very pleased to be the sponsor for the New Venture award", Harrison said. "We are committed to supporting entrepreneurial development and economic growth for the province, and this award exemplifies these qualities."

The criteria to win the New Venture award was that it had to go to a business venture that had been in existence for three years or less and had shown positive performance in terms of current or expected profitability, job creation or entry into new markets.

Steve McLellan, CEO of Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce commented, "The chamber was impressed with the speed of growth and enthusiasm of the company.  The fact that EXIT Realty Fusion has grown to be such a significant player in the real estate market so quickly is a testament to the commitment of its owners and employees."

Reached in Dallas, Texas where she was attending the international convention for EXIT Realty, EcoBroker® Loretta Hughes said:

This is gratifying and humbling.  I never thought we would have this sort of success in such a short period of time.  However, we have been lucky to attract truly qualified people to our business-and that has been the difference.  As a result, our growing clientele has responded to us in a gratifying way. Now, we have the inspiration to continue to grow. We all have seen, first hand, what hard work and dedication can lead to.  I truly believe that we have only just begun.

EXIT Realty Fusion would like to sincerely thank the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce for organizing the ABEX awards.  We firmly believe that the awards are vital to the Saskatchewan Business community as they give businesses an idea of where they stand comparable to other businesses in the province.

In addition, a few days prior to EXIT Realty Fusion's win at the ABEX awards Loretta Hughes personally accepted an award for "Creative Initiative" at EXIT Realty's 12th International Convention.  Loretta was presented the award by EXIT Realty President Steve Morris, Joyce Paron, the Canadian President and Tammy Bonnell , the American President.
